About Us

Welcome to PatchPixie! Our goal is to create original pieces of wearable artwork in a responsible way. All clothing is sewn on a 5 thread Bernina serger and finished on a Janome sewing machine. We strive to use high quality fabrics and materials while adhering to our practice of incorporating recycled, vintage, and sustainable fibers into our designs. All fabrics are prewashed and pre-shrunk, making them extra durable and machine washable. Our items are never mass produced, but made with care one at a time. Now, pixies are said to be mischevious little beings. They are most often nocturnal and work in the moonlight hours. Rebecca fancies herself a bit of a pixie as most of her work is done in the nightime hours and she can be both sweet and a bit of a trickster! She makes all of the clothing on the site with extreme care and has been stitching for over 10 years. When she isn't chasing after her wee daughter, Findley Dare, she loves playing with fabric, thread, and dyes. She welcomes you all to be led astray by the pixies!!

Wayne is the webmaster for our cyberhome. He likes to fly fish and scavenge for vinyl. Wayne also enjoys trading concert CDs and producing documentaries.
